Abandoned Browser Recovery Automation •
The abandoned browser recovery automation can help to recapture the lost sales from the customers who leave the store website after viewing some products but do not add anything to the cart.
The automation will find such cases and then send a reminder notification to these customers, try to bring them back to the last viewed product, and encourage them to buy.

To start setting this up, head over to Automations and click on Activate adjacent to Abandoned browser:
You'll then be redirected to this page, and you can select which channel you want to send these notifications from. For this example, we will be using the Push Automation Channel:
At the lower half of the page, you'll be able to see and configure the notification/message that your subscribers will be receiving with previews for iOS, Mac OS, Windows, and Android:
Configuration:
- Wait time - This is the time when the notification will be sent after your subscriber abandons the browser.
- Discount code - There are three options for the discount code. You can choose not to offer a discount, offer a discount code, or offer a unique discount code. If you choose to offer a discount code, kindly make sure that you set up the discount in your Shopify Admin.
- Title - Customize the notification's title with a maximum of 50 characters.
- Description - Craft a compelling message to entice customers back with a maximum of 100 characters.
- Buttons - There are three options for the buttons. Select from no buttons, one button, or two buttons. If using two buttons, the first adds the displayed product to the cart, while the second redirects customers to your store.
Once done with setting up the Abandoned browser notification just click on Save at the bottom of the page and you're all set!
