Price Drop Alert Automation (SPM)

Online store visitors are interested in certain products, and may not buy right away. They will place orders if the product is less expensive. The "Price Drop Alert" automation in our Smart Push Marketing app is built to help you convert these visitors into actual customers. This automation can send messages to your Web puch, SMS and WhatsApp subscribers.

How it works?

After the "Price Drop Alert" Automation is configured, the App will place a widget at the bottom edge of the screen on the product pages. When a visitor clicks on the widget, it will expand with more context. Then the visitor subscribes to this automation and your store by clicking the "Let Me Know" button.

How to setup:

Please watch our video tutorial on how to set up the Price Drop Alert Automation.

Steps:

    1. In the App --> Click the "Back In Stock Alert" Automation
    2. Fill all the input fields
    3. Click "Save" button to create the automations.

Please note, the images and links in the "Price Drop Alert" automation are automatically generated. The image is the price drop product image and the subscribers will be navigated to the product page after clicking the notifications.

You can also see the performance on the same page. If you want to deactivate the automation, you just need to click on the "Pause" button.

Related Questions:

1. Would the subscribers who sign up for the automation receive notifications every time when the price of the product decreases?

No. The opt-in subscribers only receive one notification, the first time the product has price reduced after they subscribed. If they want to receive notifications about the price drop again, they need to sign up again by clicking the button again.

2. If subscribers only sign up the "Price Drop Alert" automation, would they be able to receive notifications?

Yes. Once they sign up to the "Price Drop Alert" automation, they become your online store subscriber as well. They can be reached by other automations or promotional campaigns. For example, if they have an abandoned cart, the "Abandoned Cart Recovery" automation can auto-flag that, and sends them notifications. If they place an order, the "Shipping Notification" automation sends notifications about their orders' shipping updates. If you create one-time promotional campaigns, they also receive your promotional notifications.
